The Episcopal Campus Minitry at Rutgers University
Camden Campus Ministries

Welcome to the Episcopal Campus Ministry at Rutgers-Camden. ECM invites all Christians and spiritual seekers to discover and celebrate God's love, to live out the Word and to build and strengthen their relationships with Christ. (Matthew 22:37-40; 28: 19-20). ECM is for students, faculty and staff. We offer:

Worship
Wednesdays at 12:15 p.m. in the Camden College Center.

We believe regular, sincere and fervent worship is very important in strengthening our relationship with God. A weekly lunchtime service of meditation and prayer is on Wednesdays at 12:15 p.m. in the Camden College Center, followed by refreshments. Members of ECM also are encouraged to attend worship services at any of the area's Episcopal churches. Two of them (St. Paul's and St. Augustine's) are within walking distance of the campus; a third (Grace Church in Haddonfield) is one-half block southeast of the PATCO station in Haddonfield. Fellowship
We believe that spiritual growth is nourished through time spent together in fellowship. Opportunities for fellowship usually follow campus meetings and following worship services. All of the Episcopal churches sponsor coffee hour each Sunday after worship services. Please visit us. All people are welcome! "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20

Outreach
The Episcopal Campus Ministry at Rutgers-Camden invites you to servant ministry by caring for the city's homeless and assisting at the Soup Kitchen sponsored by St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Sundays at 6 p.m. Other opportunities for outreach include teaching computer classes at St. Augustine's Episcopal Church on Saturdays at 11 a.m. and collecting clothing and canned goods for the poor and the homeless.

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind...and your neighbor as your self." Matthew 22:37,39.

Campus Forum
Each semester, ECM will offer a Campus Forum for discussion of major issues in the news in light of Christian beliefs and teachings. Panelists will include religious leaders, faculty, students and staff. A question and answer period will follow and there will be refreshments.
